Description§
An arrowcatch is an artificed device that intercepts arrows shot at its bearer, drawing them aside before they can strike. When triggered it gives off a soft, ringing sound, like a far-off piece of metal settling into place. Kvothe encounters arrowcatches during his time studying artificing at the University.
