Artificing
“University craft binding sympathy into physical devices”
Description§
Artificing is one of the disciplines studied at the University, taught and overseen by the Master Artificer, Kilvin, in the Fishery. It combines physical craft with sympathetic principles to produce functional devices, from sympathy lamps to inscribed objects that store and direct energy. An artificer works toward higher rank by designing and building approved devices, and the most dangerous knowledge of the craft is kept apart from the open Archives.
