The Nine Prime Fallacies are a set of logical errors taught to students at the University, which they are expected to name and recognize. They include Simplification, Generalization, Circularity, Reduction, Analogy, False Causality, Semantism, and Irrelevancy. The ninth, the fallacy of suppressed evidence, Kvothe and his old teacher Abenthy nicknamed 'Nalt'.
