Mola wears the dark uniform of the Medica, topped on the rooftop with a grey hooded cloak from her room. She sits in shadow under a tree by moonlight. Her bearing is composed and clinical, dry and condescending toward Sim, and often weary from long hours on her feet.

Description§

Mola is a student healer at the University's Medica, analytical, matter-of-fact, and stubborn but principled. She is bound by the Medica's do-no-harm ethos and is skilled enough in sympathy to have reached the rank of El'the. She helps Kvothe build and test his gram: she throws a wax mommet of him into a bonfire so he can feel the gram absorb the binding, the metal going cold against his skin. When Kvothe collapses from what looks like heat stroke, Mola examines him at the Medica and tells him the malfeasance sensations are in his head. She later joins him on the rooftop, wearing her dark Medica uniform and a grey cloak, where she meets Auri. She is dry and condescending toward Sim, and weary from long hours on her feet.
