Alenta
“Chandrian whose sign is blight”
Appearance§
Alenta's defining trait is her paleness; her epithet is literally 'Pale Alenta.' Beyond this whiteness, the books offer no firm description of her face, build, or dress, since she is named only in the rhyme and glimpsed among the seated Chandrian.
Description§
Alenta, called 'Pale Alenta,' is one of the seven Chandrian, named in the children's counting rhyme with the line 'Pale Alenta brings the blight.' Her associated sign is blight. Like the other six, she was among the Chandrian seated together at the fire where Kvothe's parents and troupe were killed. The books otherwise give almost no canonical detail about her, naming her only in the rhyme and glimpsing her among the seated Chandrian rather than describing her in detail.
