“Vast dangerous forest in northern Vintas”
Description§
The Eld is an enormous, ancient forest stretching across the northern reaches of Vintas. Its depths are wild and perilous, harboring bandits who prey on travelers along the king's road. Kvothe hunts and destroys a band of false Edema Ruh deserters within the Eld at the Maer's behest, and it is in these same woods that he later crosses into the Fae.
